Seriously, these need to go.
I'm getting revoltingly sick of seeing lame old threads brought back to life.

yeah, Ive been seing a lot of old threads coming back to the top again.
I kinda like them cause sometimes I see old threads that I missed and I like to read over them and sometimes you learn something. Maybe instead we could make it so that a thread closes to new posts but can still be read so the information stays available but the old threads aren't revived.

How about a system where like 2 month old threads, get locked if they havn't any posts for like 2 weeks?
well sometimes old thread can be usefull as well... for the infos and other stuff...
the thing is, sometimes wen someone make a thread...u get replies like... "this is a re-post" and the other members can't be bothered to reply coz its a re-post... and new members often make re-posts... so why not bring the old threads back.
i brought bak the "username" thread coz i think its a pretty gud thread and i wanted to hav a go and let other members hu missed it to hav a go... i dont see anything wrong with that.

I onceposted on a site that did that. I have to admit, that is smart.Originally Posted by Spastik_Roach

What happens is that someone posts a question, or a request for info/ pics.
No one replies for two weeks, thread is closed.
Someone finds answer/ info/ pics, has to start a new thread :"Here's that stuff you wanted"
And repeat.
Thanks for all the fish
get a mod to unlock it, or make somthing like a month instead of 2 weeks.
that sounds better
*cough* sorry i have a bad case of postwhoreitis
