not ever since the dissaperance of the F-body and i would of assumed that chevrolet with the corvette would be considerd the performance car devision. Pontiac had a car called the sunfire it was a giant flop plus with the alling sales of grand ams and basicly their entier line up it will basicly be a coin toss between them and buick i wouldent of believed it if they hadnt of dropped oldmobile before hand and dropped the F-body after the mustang manged to outsell it 4-1

if u were to think chev as the performance devision ud have to think of holden the same way, theyre just the everyday cars, some bread and butter models, some performance models

you could be like that but my guess there is based on what they make ie the corvette where pontiac has the GTO (which is only still arriving there) put them up head to head and i think well find a winner very quickly. But ok given what you just said crises what would you call GMs performance arm Caddilac with its new rwd cars powerd by the Northstar engine and with a caddilac cien that has been on the back burner for 10 years?pontiac with our recycled GTO? buick with nothing that comes to mind?olds wich is dead? as a serious queastion what would be gms current performance arm??they seem to be killing off a lot of their lineup

Bad luck to those in the US. FWD is a thing of the devil.

Thats just a cynical "heres a performance car now shut up" exercise by Chev. I cant believe people in the US would buy that shit. Not when the die hards are complaining that the GTO/Monaro is just another bubble car and doesnt have a 70's enough grille.

how much do u reckon the monaro fans r gunna b whinging once pontiac finalise the design for the hood scoops? do u reckon they can get 5.5 0-100km/h out of 260kw? thats the american predictions, but i read somewhere that american testers take things off the engine that restrict the power
