If I'm not mistaken it is a recreation of the Series 1 LP 400 S Dallara on the Bburago Countach.Originally Posted by xavibass

well, i figured i never post, and always just sit back and read, here's my first post. Not quite the "Largest" or most expensive collection, but just a few i've gathered. I'm in the process of building a case for them, so just hang with me on the crappy pics.
found a place to put these, including the new porsche gt1 and 427 Ford Big Block
these are some smaller and older ones. i "built" a few, the saleen was my favorite.

I collected different scales and models over the past years. Now I sticked to the 1/18 scale, but stopped collecting for the moment as it eats up storage space quite rapidly. It´s the nicest scale to collect IMO though. I now have about 25 ´classic´ American cars in 1/18, mostly muscle cars from the 60´s and 70´s from brand ERTL.
Hey artolis, I might be going to Thessaloniki next month, where in your city can I buy hot wheels, tomy or dub city cars? Thanks
I have 1/18, 1/24 and 1/43 models in cabinets. I don't like individual acrylic boxes. They create a lot of glare and reflections, so you can't see the models very well behind all that plastic. The bases that come with most models are either cheesy or they take up too much room. Or both! I would like to just set each model on a good looking open stage of some sort, something that elevates the model a bit and doesn't take up a lot of room.
Does anybody make good-looking display stages in the right sizes? Thanks in advance for any tips.
