Arrow Bmw M3 Or Audi S4???

For your money which car would you buy, please be honest
    ok! thank you car enthusiasts....

    1} about BMW M3...

Power. Precision. Passion. Together they define the essence of the M3 Coupe. Its 3.2-liter, six-cylinder engine produces 333 horsepower, enough to launch from 0 to 60 mph in a staggering 4.8 seconds*. Its six-speed manual transmission or optional Sequential Manual Gearbox (SMG) and road-gripping M Variable Differential lock make any trip a soul-stirring experience. Just 4.8 seconds behind the wheel of the M3 Coupe is all it takes.

    2} about AUDI S4

With a new design and a more extensive equipment specification, the top sports model in the A4 range, the S4 with supremely powerful 344 bhp V8 engine, is about to be launched. Its permanent quattro four-wheel drive and consistently sport-tuned aluminium suspension ensure that this power can be converted into maximum forward propulsion and driving pleasure. The new S4, like its predecessor, is available in both saloon and Avant versions.

The S models of the new A4 generation are likewise instantly recognisable: the front end is dominated by the new face of the brand, the single-frame grille – in this case with S-specific grid pattern – and newly styled headlights. The shoulder line sculpts the sides of the car body in a most eye-catching way. And, finally, the most prominent feature on the new tail end, apart from the newly styled light units, are four oval tailpipes on both saloon and Avant models – a clear indication of just what the Audi S4 is capable of.

The V8 engine, with chain drive at the rear and a displacement of 4.2 litres, delivers 253 kW (344 bhp) and 410 Nm of torque. It consequently sets clear benchmarks in its segment: a benchmark for a supreme and even development of power resulting from the large swept volume, and a benchmark for unmistakeable dynamic handling.

I would take the Audi S4 for two reasons, first is the fact that I love that it has a V8, not to take anything away from BMW's wonderful I6, but there's an allure to a V8. And, secondly and most importantly, I live in the snowbelt, and I don't want to park a sportsedan when the white stuff hits the ground.

I would pick the new S4 by a slim margin, because of the AWD.

i'd take the bmw, but just by a hair. it just has the good sportier look, IMO. on the other hand, u can get a V8 with AWD. its somehow a win win situation, no matter which way u go.

the new m3 coming out in 2006 or so, will have a V8 engine in it. So we can argue then.

Somehow its hard to believe an M3 going 8, BMW are very passionate about there straight 6ers, and they would find it hard to let go of it… however the displacement might increase.. but then again the M5 went V10…

i'd take the M3 any time, for me, it looks much better and its the type of car i'd drive for the rest of my life, coupe, 4 seater, manual gearbox, the audi looks to heavy and the 4 door combination gives it a family look, and the automatic gearbox throws away any sportivness the car has to offer. i really think they are two very diferent cars, the audi is a fast salon as the M3 is a true sports car/trackday car, yep the M3 definetly
