    Ferrari Emblems

As many of you know the Cavalino Rampante (Prancing horse) was adompted by Enzo Ferrari, it was the logo of a famous Italian airplane pilot who was killed in the war. Enzo took the horse and placed it in the center of a yellow shield, yellow in which is the colour of Modena, he also placed the colours of the Italian Trecoloure above, he put the letters S F in the bottom of the emblem which means Scuderia Ferrari, or in English Ferrari Stable. This was the creation of his Formula 1 Emblem, his Road Car emblem was very similar, but he used a rectangle instead of the shield and the letters S F were replaced with the word Ferrari. On most of his road cars a Chrome horse was found in the grille, and on the rear of the car. Here I will show you the 4 logos which are all in some way connected to Ferrari, the first is that of the Italian Air Force Stormo 4 Division in which the famous Italian pilot was flying under, the second is that of the Formula 1 team, the third is the Roadcar original emblem and the fourth is the last emblem that became part of Ferrari.

To be more specific, the third badge is the "Ferrari Gestione Industriale" one.

On a side note, Ducati also used the famous horse due to mister Fabio Taglioni father being in the 91st Air Squad along with Count Baracca.

Here a picture of Count Francesco Baracca's SPAD S.VII:
