Don't know how far I'll go with it, I'm mainly using the Nats as a motivation to finish it. And it's kind of a club deal too as a few of us are taking 1/12 F1 subjects.Originally Posted by henk4
I made it years ago and did close off all the unwanted holes, but I screwed up the nose cose by trying to paint the yellow part, which became asymetrical and was one continuing stripe, whereas the racing number has to sit in a totally green "island". I have a spare one sitting around but really don't know whether I am going to build it againOriginally Posted by Dino Scuderia

ok, I guess the model making companies don't make 1/18 scale build your own models, danm thats all my collection is. Well my collection is 1/18 scale but I didn't build em they are prebuilt and ready to buy. You might be able to call that cheating for your models but I'm not the only one.Originally Posted by Dino Scuderia

All the different scales in the modeling world is a disaster, no rhyme or reason to the many scales. Never understood why 1/18 ended up being the popular size for diecast, there are no plastic models in that scale that I know of except for three old Tamiya kits.Originally Posted by manik_890

oh thanks for the information dino, wow the different sizes are really muffled up..........danm 1/16's SO CLOSE yet SO FAR to 1/18's!!!

That doesn't even cover them all, there are less significant models which have been made in 1/28 and 1/32.Originally Posted by manik_890
