    Exclamation So.... Whats Next?

Hopefuly I'm not the only person that has noticed that Porsche is running out of 911 name possiblities.

    Chronoligicly there has been:

    911
    912
    more 911s
    930
    934
    bunch more...
    993
    986
    996
    997
    gettin more cramped...

(I probably missed a bunch but thats not the point)

The point is that unless they want to go back intime, they have three numbers left. If they then went back to the 940s or something, i'd piss me off, if they went back to the thousands, i'd piss me off, if they stoped making the 911s, i'd piss me off. Have they announced any future plans considering this?

    It makes me wonder how many 3-digit 900 numbers they've got left (in total) considering other models... 904, 914, 968, 928, 986, 944, 951, 924, etc.

I thought each number was supposed to represent a different model or engineering project, or something like that.

I saw my first 997 today. Looks admirable, especially from behind. The head lights are nice too… Not sure whether I like the 996 head lights better, but I’m convinced that Porsche did a great job, looks beautiful.

About the numbers: Well, we still have 998 and 999 Those German Porsche guys are pretty smart, they'll come up with something.

    True.

Maybe they'll be forced into exponents?

I suppose a 9^11 would be a pretty fast car

Yes, sounds very bad. 1000 is too long anyway, it looks dumb writen on the back of a small car. Wat made me think of this was earlier today when i saw a 2002 porsche, and i was like wow... thats way to long. Than I realized that the 911 has like two numbers left.

When they'll run out of numbers they'll probably give it a name, like they did with the Speedster and the Cayenne.
