But I do hate Bush with a passion
Nothing wrong with being drunk and making a fool out of yourself......... unless you are the president's daughter and you know that the news are gonna get you.

Is just what you represent, you are related to one of the most important person's in the world and the media man... the media... you know how it is, they try to get everything and they interpret it their way. You just cannot play with it when you are in that position.

They were under legal drinking age of 21 at the time. Bush is definetly and idiot though, I think Kerry is going to prevail in the elections.

Yes a car website, that has a MISCELLANEOUS forum, which is for non car related topics. Fahrenheit 9/11 was great and its true for the most part. Love the part where the Congressman says "We don't read most of the bills we pass" talking about the Patriotic Act, the biggest mistake ever passed through Congress.

I'm currently reading "Dude, where's my country" at the moment. I'm led to believe that there's a few things in the book that aren't made totally clear in the book but are clarified in the film/documentary and vice versa, so once I'm done with the book, I shall almost certainly watch Farenheit 911.

For what it's worth, I don't think either candidate is really suitable for one of the most (if not the most) powerful positions in the world, so I'm not in any rush to support either. (Not that my opinion makes a blind bit of difference, since I cannae vote for either)

In 2000, before George came to power, surveys showed that in:
Great Britain, 83% of people had a "favourable" opinion of America
Germany, 78% of people had a "favourable" opinion of America
France, 62% of people had a "favourable" opinion of America

In 2004, after George's first term, surveys showed that in:
Great Britain, 48% of people had a "favourable" opinion of America
Germany, 38% of people had a "favourable" opinion of America
France, 37% of people had a "favourable" opinion of America

That is quite an interesting corellation between George W. Bush, and world-wide dislike of America.

If America as a country wants to be taken seriously on the world stage again, you need a leader/ government that can be taken seriously, not someone who likes natural gas because it is "hemispheric".
    Thanks for all the fish

It's incredible!! I saw a report on BBC World today, the reporter saw the last debate with 25 undecided voters. After the debate was over, she asked the group who had won the debate. 75% said Kerry had won, when she asked who they would vote for...70% said Bush!!! Why??? Becuase Bush believed what he said and said what be believed!!! If the rest of the undecided voters are that stupid....well, you get the picture.

No offence Blue Supra, but your re-elected prime minister is a BIG Bush supporter, so I guess that the people who voted for him are also.

"In General" is not the way to judge the population of a country. There are examples of radically patriotic (to the point of blind faith) people in the US but there are as many (or more) peole who are not so easily swayed. Most Americans I have personally met are sensible, kind and polite. This site has brought me in touch with some of the ultra patriotic types and it is quite different how they view their politicians compared with how Australians view ours.

And only 1/2 (debateable) of the country voted for Bush. So, "in general" is quite a stretch.
I'm going to eat breakfast. And then I'm going to change the world.
