Yikes! I like the interior... but other than that, it's pretty gross

A rare site; no not the car itself, a Porsche that doesn't become classic

It's 85hp (100 lb.ft of torque?) Volks Wagon purshrod-4cylinder couldn't give you a enthusiastic ride you would expect from Porsche. It's build quality was Kia-like, and it became the worst handleing, lack of feed-back Porsche ever I suppose. A mid-engine that understeers?

Yeah it doesn't have a pleasing look, but if the car was fanatic that may not matter all that much.

Are you joking? Although it's not very fast in a straight line by modern standards, it is surprisingly quick. The build quality was good by my judging standards, on Karmann, VW, and Porsche's parts.

Worst-handling? Understeers? Lack of feedback? Are you nuts? The 914 for so many years has largely dominated autoX challenges all over the world, and continues to do so. It has excellent feedback and very neutral handling... closer to oversteer than understeer if anything.

    Have you driven one?

Anyway, the point is... this particular 914 is overdone and hideous. It makes me wonder how much the owner spent on ruining it...
