    Your high school buddies?
If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

*sigh*, one chap, and he is interested, thats it. Not an absolute car nutter like me .
Its very frustrating cos all of em slap their foreheads when my ears prick up at the sound of a sports car exhaust and rather strong verbal prose comes outta my lips.

I have one heavily into cars (He's here- Preludes Rule!), and a couple who like 'em quite a bit. Most of them couldn't care less, though...

I think that most of my closest friends are car fans. Probably not to the same degree, but fans nonetheless. I actually have an interesting range of car fans for friends. My mate who I was in school with since I was 19 is a hardcore motorsport guy, raced karts until a few years ago, big F1 and BTCC fan. Another two friends, sort of fair weather car fans, in to the max power scene a bit too much for my liking. I've got this weird friend who's obsessed with Koenigseggs and pretty much nothing else.

My dad's a massive petrolhead. It's probably his fault that I am. He always used to tell me about car stuff went we went out in the car. He used to tell me stuff when I was really young and didn't really understand. I could probably explain how a carburettor worked before I could spell it.

About 3/4 of my 'mates' are into cars and bikes.
    Kit cars
    Hot rods
    1/4 mile with Jap imports
Motorbikes ( real sports ones )
    trackday
    Racing
    Rallying

not all started out that way, but have "come to the dark side" with some 'influence' from me

Saying somethign "looks gay" isn't clever.
