Are you sure you arent clicking on "save target as" If you are it wont let you save as jpg!!! you need to click on "save picture as" It gives you both opions!

just get mozilla firefox....
when u save with firefox they change the correct file type for u plus u get to change it urself
geeeeze.
Yeah, I've definitely been hitting save picture as...just like I've been doin it for 10 years, and I can only save as bmp. I use Adobe to convert it to whatever I want afterwards, but I can't figure out why I can't just save it as a jpg to begin with. I hate this machine.
So does anybody think theres some kind of Windows setting that's holding me back here?

its not a big file, i mean firefox, its only 7 mb . or so
Problems with gif/jpeg saves in MS apps is down to an office patch a while back.
It needs a re-install of the graphics filters.
It doesn't jsut affect Explorer - so sorry all the Moz-lovers
But that it affects IE is bad, - so equally sorry to MS lovers
A search on MS will find the patch ( or re-isntall the filters from the office disks )
"A woman without curves is like a road without bends, you might get to your destination quicker but the ride is boring as hell'
