    Muscle Or Import

I just want an opinion. What would you prefer, an american Muscle car or an Import? Personally I like the muscle cars. They are faster and more powerful than the piece of shit imports and if you disagree with me, humor me.

    EDIT: Besides European Cars

You do know that imports include European cars right?

This is gonna be one hell of a bashing thread, your post is pretty pathetic.

I much prefer muscle to jap cars, I was raised on a steady diet of that. But there are certain jap cars I like, Datsun 510's and 240/260z's come to mind.

When i say import, i mean those shitty cars like honda civics that people put bodykits on to "look" better but are actually slow as hell.

yeah, ok so u spend twice as much money on the car and about quadruple on tires and gas while i still smoke you with my lancer evo. game set match

not to mention the fact imports would include any italian supercar, ie ferrari 360 cs which is faster then any american car in production with the exception of the ford gt

5.409 litres with supercharger and they only got 550 bhp ... WTF

You cannot compare American muscle cars with shitty ricy civics. If that's the case then I take the American muscle too and the thread is as stupid as it gets..

If you are calling a POS every Japanese car out there then again the thread is stupid as it gets.

Here, I'm sure you would never like to drive a Japanese POS such as this one:

He did say "except european cars"...and the Ford GT was built to be a low-revving car in the best American tradition. That's how we like 'em here.

As to the price vs. performace quotient...I'm sorry, aren't muscle cars a damn good bang for the buck? It's news to me that most imports can be made fast for less money than a muscle car. Yeah, theres ones like the Evo that are much better bang for the buck, but how long are they gonna last? Muscle cars are proven.

I don't much care about cornering...the japanese cars can have that.

then again, it is a biased thread

Ideally for me, it's only part muscle car. I like a car that has the suspension of a cloud, just enough power stuff to keep driving easy (power windows, steering/seats/brakes/locks), and enough engine to cover the 1/4 mile in, say, 15 seconds, or faster if it sacrifices no torque for towing and city driving.
