    In Venezuela we don't have domestics so I'll just vote for imports

    BTW in Europe domestics obviously are their own cars... Please specify, this is a common mistake and was discussed like 3 days ago on another thread... Of course I take it by your sig that you are from the US, but you also have to specify wether you mean Japanese cars by saying imports or every other countries' cars.

    can you ask a broader question please?
    Depends what ur using the car for and such.
    i like cars from both , saying one is better that the other is just stupid.

    well i guess if your classing everything that is american against everything that american it depends on if you are counting things like aston matrin in the american range since they are owned by ford ;

    however i would still choose your version of inport over american cars

    but they lose when it comes to performace, handling, and comfort. this is of course excluding the corvette and the saleen, the only true performance coming out of america.

    the only reason american cars are cheaper is because they dont have to pay tax to ship it into it's own country .. which wouldnt make a whole lotta sense

    EXACTLY. that's why BMWs in germany barely cost more than what a focus does here.

    Think about it. Name any American car (excluding classics) and I'll give you an import, probably Euro, probably British, that beats it hands down. FOr starters:
    Pure Off-roader: Hummer H1 beaten by Land Rover Defender 90
    Retro Hatch: PT beaten by Mini Cooper
    Executive Sedan: Chrysler 300C beaten by new Merc E-class, Audi A6, I could go on...
    Big-luxury sedan: Cadillac DeVille beaten by Jag XJ, merc S-class, etc. etc.
    Muscle-car: Ford Mustang beaten by Vauxhall Monaro
    Supercar: Saleen S7 beaten by Carrera GT, McLaren F1, Enzo, Zonda, Koenigsegg, etc.
