    The car was designed as the DB -Jet, and when DB (Deutsch & Bonnet) was taken over by Matra it became the Djet. (This i quote by head, the sequence could also have been the other way around but the reason is correct AFAIK )

    Edit: As I feared, it is the other way around, it was first D'Jet and then became just Jet

    OK, thanks. All I wanted to know is that I didn't make a mistake So matra Jet6 is right and there's no 'D' missing on the back of the car.

    I happen to have brochures for the Lloyd Alexander, the Fiat 500 Multipla, Opel Rekord and a few others...would anyone be interested in purchasing one? (They're all in german (from my grandfather)).
