    Shelby Expedition

Check this out. Ford and Shelby have teamed up once again, first time since the GT40 and the Shelby Mustangs to make a special edition Expedition with a 500+ hp motor!! It was introduced at SEMA, but it isnt quite a green light yet but most likely will. Read about it here:

Wow... as if the Expedition didn't get bad enough gas mileage before. I guess it's a cool idea for the American SUV market but c'mon.... a 500 pony suv?

Who's gonna pay $110,000 for a Ford truck? Even one with 550 horsepower...

He's lost a lot of credibility lately whoring out his name for a myriad of probably less than great projects.

Carrol clearly needs to get medication to tackle the onset of senility.

What the **** was he thinking

I'm sorry, but is this supposed to be a professional piece of journalism?

"Altough"? Who employed a journalist, whose sole task is to write things, that can't spell/ use spell check?

There are some serious issuse with the American media - namely no journalists/ professional writers seem capable of writing even a simple article such as this.

The best one I saw was "...killing one Sunday."
I didn't even know you could kill Sundays!

If you want to be a pilot, you need to be able to fly a 'plane.
If you want to be a professional writer, you need to be able to write.

Anyway... The Shelby Expedition = Tat.
    Shelby = Rubbish
    Ford USA = Idiots

A "Sports" or "Performance" SUV is like making a tank out of ricepaper, or an aeroplane out of gauda. It won't work.

SUV = Big, heavy, for lumbering across rocks, fields and snow.
Sports = Light, fast, for tearing about racetracks.

The two simply can't mix - you just end up with something that is still big and heavy, but useless at the rocks, fields and snow, and the tearing round racetracks. They usually aren't all that fast either.

So it doesn't fullfil criteria as either an SUV or Sports vehicle - what is the point?
    Thanks for all the fish
