    that can depend.....your classic HQ ute or one tonner will always drive better with 100kg over the back axle because thats when leaf springs work their best. the new commodore utes wtih the IRS arent like that at all, and start turning into jelly in your hands once you start packing on the weight. the new ford utes, being all based on the same chassis unlike the commodore twins, are fitted with dual rate springs that try and get over the trouble of handling an unladen, leaf sprung ute

    For me, fun with a ute is not having 100kg in the back. You can get technical if you want but nothing is funner then a big dirt patch and a ute with no load in the back.

    Mate i can think of a lot more fun things to do in a ute that weighs a little more then 100kg

    Utes are better on a warm summers night though personally station wagons with fold down seats are alsogood
