i like the nsx type r, although it is beginning to look a little dated now. i also like the Tommy Kaira zz, and most of the traditional jap power cars, like supra and skyline. Some people think it is boring of me to like these cars, but they are a superb drive, and got the reputation they deserved.

I can't believe I forgot the 2000 GT, shame on me. A masterpiece. And yes, he is the one that people pick on.

as long as he doesn't make any more controversial comments, i have no reason to pick on him.

my favorite japanese car would be the Toyota 2000GT, then the
third gen. RX-7, then the mitsuoka orochi.

Yeah, I always seem to have to remind people of it Strange. I guess it just tends to be forgotten in this era of Honda fanboys and new-age F&F worshipping

At least we don't forget the oldies

Actually I have never seen the F&F movies. I like asian cars a lot, but don't fancy mindless Vin Diesel action flicks. I forget the 2000 GT because everyone else does (sadly). I read somewhere that the engine is in the 1G-GE family, like in the current Lexus 2 litre, does anyone know if it's true?

I also forgot the 240 z. I have seen a really well restored one near where I live, with a lurid yellow paintjob, RB25DET NEO motor and a few mods, leather interior. It's nice to see a restored classic that isn't a ford or holden.
