    Tomaso Pantera

    Okay, how much horsepower does a Tomaso Pantera have? I really think that that car is awesome.

    I think its called DeTomaso and not Tomaso...
    And the hp depends on wich model you are talking about
    There are many Pantera's

    If i may correct you.

    It's De Tomaso Pantera.

    Technical Details (1971 model):

    Engine: 5769cc (101.6x88.9mm) Ford V8 with 330bhp.
    Suspension front: Independent with wishbones and coil springs.
    Suspension rear: Independent with coil springs.
    Brakes: discs all round.
    Transmission: 5 speed manual.

    They aren't cheap. But it used the same engine that my Dad has in his '73 Mach 1 and it's a kick to drive if you keep the revs above 3500, with more than enough torque down low to lug it around a corner in 4th gear if you want.

    Well, they aren't cheap. Plus, the car has actually had a few flaws.
    1 I read about was something water leaks on the floor.

    It may also depend on what kind of Pantera you want.
    I've only seen 3 types.
    1 without a spoiler
    1 with a handle like spoiler
    1 with a racing like spoiler and looks older than the previous 2.

    They're good looking cars. Italy made alot of nice sports cars in the 80's.
