You sure about that? If they come out with a S or Turbo, or Turbo S versions, then the Quattroporte is screwed.Don't worry. The Maserati Quattroporte is going to beat it easily...
BTW, the Quattroporte is coming on in age sort of. Will there be a next gen?

Well, the Panamera better be ill. I am a Porsche fanboy (but not uber-hardcore), So I think that the Panamera will hopefully be ill and the best preforming sedan of all time.

The Panamera could do a million mph and I'd still would want a Quattroporte. And it's going to be updated shortly with a new engine and a new gearbox.
