I think it looks pretty good and all the facts and figures show that it should be a fairly good car all round, but nothing truly special. This was confirmed by a road test of a near road-spec prototype. Problem is it is set to retail at £120000+ here in the UK which is a hell of a lot to pay for a virtually unknown and unproven car. However Klaas Zwart (the super rich guy behind the project) has a cunning plan. He has just built his own custom race track in Marbella, Spain, and is putting the finishing touches to a five star hotel resort there. If you're brave and rich enough to buy an Ascari you then get the added bonus of being able to take it the private race track in Spain while lapping up the five star luxury. It's certainly an original marketing idea, you can't fault the guy for effort. Let's hope it works!

The Ascari kz1 is a stunning work of art
It was featured in EVO mag a few months back. It also featured on Project Gothham Racing 2 for XBOX
