Living in Indiana, we don't get quakes very often, thank goodness. But they say that when the New Madrid snaps, it'll be seriously ugly.

It might be worth mentioning that Alaska has had some of the most intense earthquakes ever recorded. Heh, at least you've got a while before you get there
