Owned. Also the base Camaro has 300 hp and as far as I know will be similar in price to the 'stang and maybe only a little heavier? I also think the new Camaro looks better than the new Mustang but not better than the 200-2009 Mustang.

Advantage: Camaro.

I'm still surprised that the old mustang cobra got the independant rear, but the new one doesn't. I can understand the base model not having it, but why drop it off the cobra/GT500? I would have like the mustang better if it just had that, but I may have to go with the camaro. You know, if they actually get to make more than 5 of them before going under.

Yeah, I heard that, too. But if they greatly improve everything else on the car, why not irs too?

cause it costs more to produce plus, for drag racing its better...for everything else in life its worse. Maybe ford saw the complaints people had about the GTO's IRS and decided against it? who knows.

wwgkd you should feel lucky to even be considering buying one or the other.
