10 reasons to wait for PS3

To the people who say 120fps is useless- its 60 fps as was explained above, and this is the max that the human eye can process. This means the software has the potential to have the maximum framerate, which is a good thing.

PS3 is definitely the console that is worth to get, since PC's already better than X360 before its launch. Running any games in 120fps is impossible, unless you're talking about games with crap graphics.

How is it impossible? Newest computers can display DOOM 3 at 90+ fps, and you think that a purpose built machine with 8 processor cores and a release about a year away won't be able to do it? I think what are considered good graphics today will easily display at over 120 fps in a year.

Having 50+gb Blu-ray disks isn't an advantage, the 360s HDD is writable, i doubt the PS3 will have a burner in it. Also, a format war between blu-ray and HD-DVD is immenent, so Blu-ray may end up being a disadvantage to the PS3.

I've got one thing to say about the XBOX 360, though; there's this game called Halo 3 that's apparently being hyped up. Many people believe the first two games in the series were the undeniable best games or best FPS's ever, on anything...

despite the fact that Half Life 2 came out and quietly made Halo look extremely pathetic by comparison. Even compared to other games besides Half Life, Halo is mediocre by comparison. Sure, it's fun for a while, I got sucked in to it for a while, but the thing is it got boring, FAST.

I have more fun playing SOLDIER OF FORTUNE, a below average game. What does that tell you?

My point is, although I couldn't care less what anyone enjoys playing, I find it laughable that people name halo as the be-all end-all of shooting games, and THE reason to own an XBOX, or be interested in video games period.

On that note, I'll probably wind up with a PS3 and a Nintendo Revolution. The Revolution might not have any respectable racing sims, but then my taste in games isn't really limited to shooting and racing.

its funny cause with all these things on ps3 they might not need to upgrade the system agian for quite a long time where as microsoft will come out with xbox 3 within a few years and sony will only have to come out with add ons and expansion packs.
