I'm of the opinion there are better products than a 911, at least considering my tastes. While on the other hand I'll be happy to give reason to the pricks not purchasing a Cayenne.
And if pricks like certain cars, there is automatically something I don't like about those in most cases

If you want exclusivity, tuning is the answer.

You know I drive a BMW. One of the ultimate hatemobiles.

And that doesn't stop me from enjoying the brilliant drive.

Sure. I wouldn't avoid a GT3RS if gifted or with a much larger bank count.

Bottom line is, people get a little bit carried away trying to quench their thirst for the ultimate in exclusivity. They feel the need to drive something with a badge on the front that 9 out of 10 people have never seen, let alone even heard of, just to say they have something nobody else does. Its just way overboard. There's not much passion behind that if you ask me. How much heritage or great stories does a JE Design, Lumma, or Enco even have to show for itself? Probably not a whole lot. That's why owning something like a Ferrari or a basic non whored out Porsche would feel far more rewarding in my books. You can get behind the wheel and smile while reminiscing about all the childhood memories you have, reading and learning about these great cars. What child grows up dreaming of owning a Maff Muron? WTF?!

For the record, if I was given ANY of these vehicles, I would sooner sell it and buy some land rather than tool around in it even for a day. Ok, maybe I'd do one brake stand but thats it.

The badge is the least of its problems.

hhmm well i have driven the GTS model and it rocks its great drove 250km/h for an hour long and no one got inmy way loved it but the maff version is SUOER DUPER AMAZINGLY ugly and i actually like the rinespeed version since it makes the car a bit more aggressive

The only research the prospective buyers do before purchasing is attempting to find the variation of the given model that will cost them the most money and in turn leave them standing out of the crowd the most, regardless of price. These cars are sold to people that absolutely crave attention and want to appear better than the "average porsche cayenne turbo S owner". They were the kids that were always granted their way from their incompetent parents right from the get go. Its the same story behind every other ridiculously over exploited variant out there.
They don't want JUST a 911 or JUST a cayenne, because it doesn't do these egotistical pricks enough personal justice. They need the superdeeduper magnum trojan octo supercharged V20 engined 40,457 horsepower, top of the line, micro penis, allwheel drive, 6 sunroof, etc etc tuned model thats costs 1000% over the donor car value.
It makes absolutely zero sense. Its a waste of cash, a waste of resources, and most of all a waste of space.

If the cayenne is a turd, then all the followers are merely polished and spit shined, lacquered turds. Nothing more.
I'm reminded of the old saying: "You can't polish a turd."

Based on everyone's response so far its quite safe to say that a suitable name change for this site could be "ultimatecayennehaterspage.com"
