2010 Chevrolet Camaro & Cadillac DTS

One of my Cadillac friends bought (new) a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro and a 2010 Cadillac DTS.

He got the Cadillac first and the Camaro a few weeks later.

Here are some of the photos I took of the Camaro; I will post the Cadillac photos later.
Photos taken at Hansen Dam in Pacoima.

I like the color, but auto is a bit of no no.

    Congratulations to your friend.

Wow, thats alot of money invested in a couple of weeks. A Caddy, then a Camaro.

I agree with Ferrer though, love the color, but not the auto.

    I have my basis:
    - Family cars (sedans,) hatchbacks, vans, half-tons etc. Auto or Manual. Doesn't matter.

    - Sports cars, Muscle cars. Need to be manual. Otherwise why get them. You buy these kinds of cars to get the driving experience, and an auto is not an experience.

Thats why I twitch when I see a lambo with an auto transmission.

    Congrats to your friend though.

Don't know why he chose the automatic. I guess he prefer those being used to Cadillacs. He does seem to enjoy driving it.
I went for a ride; was in the back seat.
Plenty of power, I think the horsepower rating is 400. I noticed the ride is stiff. Not just a little stiff, but very stiff. That might irritate him after a while, but maybe not.

Here are two more photos. I will post pics of his Cadillac shortly.

You have to remember your "stiff" comes from years driving Cadillacs

Still, for the money you can't sniff at those cars

No, I thought of that. Not even comparing with my Cads. For instance my brother's '98 Ford F-150 does not have a smooth ride at all, yet it is better than the Camaros. Those parking lot speed bumps really jar you up and down inside the Camaro. On the freeway, it (the Camaro) was riding stiffly. I had my camera with me and it was hard to keep it steady!

That's true. You get a lot of power for the money.

Yeah, there is nothing flashy here, but I have seen far worse. The 06 Corolla I was forced to use as a rental comes to mind

My friend actually bought some chrome trim for the interior which is made for the Camaro. I haven't seen it since he put it on.

Time for pics of the 2010 Cadillac DTS. Here are 3 to start with...

Wow Fleet. I'm liking that caddy so far. Love the color. Can't wait to see some interior shots if you can get them.

Maybe now GM might not go bust!
I'm jealous, I'm not a fan of the new camaro and that not my favorite Caddy, but they are nice cars that I won't be able to afford for years!

I forgot to shoot some interior photos, but I did make a video. Here are some interior views off the video...

Great interior. If I were to get a caddy, that is pretty much exactly what I'd get. Definitely my favorite of the two cars.

Thanks for sharing the shots Fleet.
