    Nissan Figaro

I have spotted two interesting cars during my recent short trip to Edinburgh... Here is the first one. I was not even aware of the existence of such a car...
Right-hand drive Porsche 356 Speedster was the second one, but so as there is already a well image-documented thread I preferred not to add one more thread...

Nice sighting! do you have a pic of the car side by side with a modern one, or something similar? just to see the different proportions...I know the car is very small, I just would like to see the "size-effect"

    Sorry

Sorry, threse three are the only ones taken. Concerning the size it seems to be comparable to the classic Morris Mini.

I know there is one in Russia, they take it to some exhibitions from time to time, but I've never seen one in person. Thanks for the photos!

I donīt know if I understand you, but the Figaro is a late 80īs car (1989 or so...), in fact the true starter of the retro trend followed by cars like the New Beetle, the Mini, etc...so it kinda qualifies as modern itself, being not that old.

Yes, I do know it to be not so old... The classic Mini was taken to compare the dimensions to something quite well-known only.

part of the "Pike" series of special builds Nissan introduced in the late 80's, other specials included the Be-1, S-Cargo & Pao.

This is by far the prettiest & is actually not a bad little car for what it does.

Based on the K10 Nissan Micra. Had a 1.0 litre turbo'd four pot linked to a 3 speed auto. When I bought the Alfa there was a woman who had taken the train from Edinburgh to Plymouth and then drove the car all the way back without ever seeing the car beforehand. When she started it up I cracked a wee smile as it sounded exactly like my old Micra, brought the memories back.
