    2009 Mazda 3

I took these images from Spanish auto-biblekm77.com.. Personally, I always loved the "Nagare" styling theme and I am glad to see it in production models, like the 6 and now this.
Do want. But how about you? discuss.

I personally think it's worse than the old one.

    Like a japanese Peugeot. Probably.

    Don't like the "smile."
Wish it was a 6 hatch.

I'm not a fan of this new styling direction. It looks cheap and tacky.
i was waiting on a moment, but the moment never came. all the billion other moments, were just slipping all away. i must have been tripping, we're just slipping all away. just ego tripping.

The only things I see on it that look cheap are the plastics of the grille.

they gave it a horrid buck tooth look, not good.
the overall look isn't as good either, they made it look too pointy and sharp...

The 'face' is ridiculous, belongs in the movie 'Cars'.

It's not any specific aspect of the car, material wise, rather its style looks cheap. It's all subjective, so it's hard to describe, but it gives off a tacky mid-90s Korean concept car vibe. The lines are too creased and lack any flow, and on a whole it seems mismatched and gaudy.

Actually, now that you point that out, it is starting to look cheaper and cheaper.

Damn zep, you ruined this car for me.

Don't worry, you've got plenty of other interesting cheap cars out there...

    ...no wait you don't.

    My apologies

On a whole though, I'm not a big fan of a lot of manufacturers' styling directions. Ever since the gaping, slack-jawed grill phase took off, it's been going down hill. I can't come to grips with the edgy/extreme "future" styling trends.

The high belt-lines and general fatness of design are more worrying to me.
    Apology accepted

There are still some cars that look good though.

    It looks... happy.

I think for this sort of car, that's way too large of a front opening. Everything else looks good though.
I dont if I'll make home tonight
