What would you do if you had 50 grand to spend all on only one car?
and can someone take a Nissan Skyline GTR and a ZO6 around a track in GT3 to see which one is better. I can't drive good enough to get good times.

Lancer Evolution MR, considering the MR is almost 40 grand USD after importing from Japan or Europe there isnt much else I can do other than some bits here or there, like a CF hood and maybe a new sound system.
knifeedge, that last quote on your sig. is great!

If you are going to get pernickety about taxes I'll settle for the regular Tuscan Convertible for 39,850
Thanks for all the fish
I'm sure there are people who are much better, but I decided to race the cars.
I took a stock Corvette Z06 and Skyline GT-R VspecII.
Starting out, the corvette is over 100 hp more and 150kg less than the skyline.
I raced on 3 different tracks for different performance aspects:
Track Z06 GT-R
Test Track 2'21.93 2'29.79
Midfield Raceway 1'20.759 1'25.094
Laguna Seca 1'34.979 1'36.086
I noticed on the Test track, the Z06's 6th gear is completely worthless! It's not powerful enough to accelerate, it just sorta loses speed when it shifts to 6th. I actually slowed down a teeny bit to get back into 5th and get some speed up again. The Z06 topped at 172 and the GT-R at 160something.
Also, really what matters is your driving style! I'm sure there's plenty of people here who would get way better times with the GT-R. But in summary, the Z06 is best FOR ME, all around.
Note: Just out of curiosity, I also raced both completely tuned up.
Z06: 752hp 1197kg GT-R: 835hp 1275kg So now the GT-R is actually ahead by around 80hp but still heavier.
I only did one track, midfield. The Z06 got 1'10.91 and the GT-R got 1'10.094, slightly faster, but it was SO much harder to drive.
So basically... whichever suits your style better I like the rear wheel high hp, but you might like the all wheel better.
NOTE: Cutting you whiners off at the pass, this is in no means meant to say which one would perform better in real life. And I'd rather have a lancer evo too.

Most cars 6th, or final gear acts as an over drive. Its there to save gas, not for acceleration.Originally Posted by digitalcraft

With 50 grant I'd buy an A3 and a CBR 900. And I'd keep the change.
Z06 definetly, beautiful shape, tons of grip, and the LS6 engine.
