    My Volvo 850 T-5

    My Volvo 850 Turbo (T-5)

I bought it almost 4 years ago, but recently I have found some nice secondhand 17" Volvo rims. (from a 850R) And bought a 850R front bumper.
Might need some wipers for my headlights, but I think thats almost it.

The first 2 photos are from 4 years ago, when it was still completely stock.
You can even see my previous car in the first photo. That's a Volvo 460

Yes this is just where i need to be, I'm thinking of getting an 96 or so volvo 850 with about 140km on the odometer, what do you guys think? Are they reliable and how are they on repairs. Another thing was do they take premium fuel or is reg recommended? Any insights would be welcome, looking to get it in next 2 months if i get a clean bill of health on its rep from you guys..

I like Volvos, especially the 850 and with the R bits it looks very nice. I bet that T-5 has some good speed to it, wasn't the 850R the fastest wagon in the world at the time?

A standard 850 (NA or turbo) runs fine on 95. Maybe that a 850R would require 98(octane).

140.000km, thats nothing for this 5 cylinder.
Only be aware that a 850 from '94 and up needs to change the cam belt every 120.000km. (1ste series '91-'94 every 80.000).

Repairs; parts aren't cheap but they are build to last.

Nice car, the exterior and interior match my car exactly. Still jealous of your rims and bumper though. We got ours used and the first owner decided he would rather have cheap hubcaps then the turbo models wheels.

Nice looking Volvo you got there mate! The R parts fit the car very well, it looks more aggressive. Erm, I never thought I would say that about a Volvo... oh well!
