    Happy Canada Day 2010!

Wooooooo! July 1! That means it's Canada Day! Party on Canucks!

Canada turns 143 today - pretty young, but makes Australia for example look like a teenager.

What are your plans on this Canada Day?

Note: even if you are not Canadian, you can celebrate this great nation! Have some maple syrup! Smoke a joint! As a percentage of population, Canada is the #1 weed smoking nation in the world! Play some hockey! Be polite! Say "eh" to elicit a response from the person you are having a conversation with! Drink some Canadian beer or rye! Dress up like a Mountie! Be self deprecating!

Come on, there are many ways to be Canadian on this day!

EDIT: Gilles is gone for this rare occasion!

    Also, a flag!

    Brilliant hellcat.

That last picture basically sums up Canada for those that haven't been here.

That igloo is a 2010 though - ours is a 1956 and is getting old.

I still didn't understand where this Canada you keep taking about is. Is she cute?
She called me last week for a drink but never showed up. I'm considering it's was just a prank call and that this Canasa is just another ugly fat chick.

So Cameron don't get too drunk, she may to posses you.

One of the ads here has noticed that Canada has been mentioned a lot.

It asks if Don Cherry should retire.

Don Cherry is a very politically incorrect hockey commentator - he is a vestige of old rural European Canada. He pronounces basically all European and French names wrong, he accuses the French and European players of being pussies basically, and also says that they wear visors more commonly which he sees as a deterrent to the game.

He is on every Saturday during the season on CBC rather hilariously, and is highly amusing to watch.
