It sure does - if you drive normally on a highway, it'll even accelerate up a hill to maintain speed.

My point is that there were 10's of ways to get out of the situation without the need for a dramatic police chase.

Thats a bugger coz motorcycle jackets do need to be a bit longer than usual, to accomodate the crouching position when sitting on the bike. Otherise the small of your back gets exposed and frozen in winter as you lean over to the bars. Not the best for protection either. When I bought a set of leathers all those years ago (which btw was from these guys, fantastic quality) they had a bike parked on a stand in the showroom, which you sat on to get the exact right length when they measured you up.

Less so is the rationale for the charade .. angling towards a new career on the biggest loser?

The cops need to prosecute firmly, if they're able to, to dissuade another copycat escapade

Further proof that we need to steal the car & hide his body.

The 2.5 5 cylinder in my Volvo is annoying me. tacka-tacka-tacka.

I'd be fairly down for that.

It'd be good to put those spoilers & Bodykits to good use.

I though they did those anyway - They're called demo derby's?
