Strange, always thought when decelerating or using the handbrake the front is forced to the ground (just physics theory).


It is just a matter of taste but in my opinion the wood applications don't suit the sporty character of this Subie...

Ferrer, I studied the images you posted from the 5th generation Legacy STi (BM). But honestly I cannot find anything likeable in the design of the car. The sideprofile remind me on Toyota's Aurion and the rear (destroys the proportion in my opinion) appears to be taken from a larger Lexus.
Even when it reminds on the last gen Audis and the taillights of the sedan would better fit on an European Ford,
I still like the 4th gen Legacy/Liberty better than the current one. Shame on you, Subaru (although I know it is a matter of taste)

It is matter of taste indeed, but you are very right. The old Legacy was a car that looked unique and very Subaru, and the new one looks like it could've come from any company, like Toyota. And it also has lost, like the Impreza, its trademark framless doors, which is a shame.
The only thing that remains is that Subaru is still pretty much an engineering-led company, and despite the downfall in the styling department, I'd still consider them as a compelling alternative if I wanted to buy a new car.

^This. Suburu effectively designed away any "legacy" from preceeding models, which has been with us barely 20 years.
A shame, the original had a distinctive character and it's model name should be pertinent.
