The 'I'm working on...' thread.

Started working on it today. Mind you this is my first time ever painting with oils.

I started by putting a grid on the blank canvas to help plot out where stuff should be.

I then did a pretty opaque layer of neutral colors and sketched out on top of that.

I put some green down where the car and some background will be.

I put most of the background in and the foreground. There still is a lot of detail to be put in them. Thats it for now, I have to let it dry over night to put more layers on.

The perspective is a little off but that'll be fixed with future layers.

I did the sky and interior. I need to get some different brushes for more detail work and for better lines. I also tried some of the body but I might have to do some tinted overlays ontop of the greens to get it right.

That's cool. I made a painting of car badges when I was in high school. That was a cool painting. I need to post a picture of that later on.

Huh? It's just me doing the painting. I started painting the real colors on top of the wash as you can see in the picture, I stopped because I didn't like how it was coming out.

I have started a bit of 3D modelling for my Uni course. My latest submission was this sign from the City of Iron Forge in WoW. I don't play WoW, just to clarify. It's just what I had to model, working on the rest of the city but don't have any shots of that right now.

We have to work to a stupid res too, hence the crappy image.
