More here in our full report: 2008 24 Hours of Le Mans
If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

Let me know what you think. I skipped sleeping as the damn fools saved the most exciting bit of the race for 4 am.

I skipped 4am, in turn Been watching it until somewhere very close, but didn't see the beginning of the rain - went to sleep and returned to the race at about 10:30 in the morning.
We could fill an entire slideshow with the S102 - Ultimatecarpage.com - Images, Specifications and Information - my favourite pic off the slideshow
The report is really interesting, though I haven't yet finished reading it. And the photos are great as always. That's why I like UCP - the quality

I agree. That car is just stunning. The ACO claim it ran 358 km/h on the Mulsanne, which I find hard to believe. Sam clocked it at 335 km/h with his radar gun and I doubt they found another 20 km/h since qualifying.

    Well, this is Sam's phrase:
How fast, how long and who's quickest. We take a look at the performance of the cars in detail (and find out that the ACO figures are wrong!)
Interesting to see what the car will be if the things will go as they're claimed now - S102 based hybrid Toyota.

Hey Wouter it says in the report that all 6 diesels put on threaded tires during the rain, but didn't Minnasean(sp?) stay on slicks for a few laps costing the Peugeots any hope of catching up even before the tire blew out?

Minassian was on slicks for a while, but his puncture occurred during the last stint when he had just switched to wet tyres.
