Its done sorta in the vein of the old 911 GT1 car(96 and 97 model), taking the front half of the unitbody of the car and mate it with the purpose built, mid-engine back end....

Can't help but think the Gulf livery is a little overdone now. Still an awesome piece of kit though and I can't wait to see what it's capable of on track.
