What a tricky situation, luckily I'll never have to actually deal with it... phew!!!!

This is the age old story of actual best verse perceived best, aka I imagine a GT2 RS is a far better car to drive than a Ferrari 456, and yet that's not going to make me feel better at the lights when someone calls out 'hahaha you couldn't afford a Ferrari'.

So while I would buy the Pagani, I'm aware I'll look second best next to a Bugatti.

I'm not sure that the Pagani actually does look second best next to the Bug. If it's a standard Veyron, the Pagani'd likely be faster on a track anyway. To those in the know anyway.. to those not in the know.. they'd probably be too busy picking their jaws up from the ground at this market segment.

It's way too large, handling would be horrible.
You can probably fit a Fox in the Veyron's engine bay.

Actually the Skoda Fabia is the best car in the world.

    Probably.

Overall I'm a little surprised: I thought there were a lot more Pagani fans on this site.

I think an Audi A8 with a full leather interior has them all beat: The Lambos feel like A6s inside, the Veyron is nice but for that kind of money I'd like a real radio/GPS screen and the Bentley feels like someone took a VW interior and put chrome rings around all the switches and put some leather in between.
