    Lambo Diablo, DCSBeemer-style.

I originally intended entering this in the Chop Comp series 76. Withdrew it again in light of a misunderstanding (I think).

Problem is I already spent quite a while at it and decided it'd be a waste not posting the finished product.

So here it is, the original Diablo GTR as posted by Suzq044 and my rendition alongside.

    In a nutshell:
Changed the cockpit by lowering it a bit and moving it back.
Altered the C-pillars and did away with the big intakes above the rear-wheels.
Altered the rear-wing and mounted it to the body via the sides.
    Enlarged the side-intakes.
Edited the shutlines of the doors.
    Added a 'Durante'-style nose upfront.
    Changed the color.
    Changed the wheels.
    Edited background.

    Added notes:
No other graphical app except The Gimp was used.

apart from the removal of the rear vent and that spoiler, it doesn't look too bad. Good clean chop, keep it up
btw if that car was coming out of that corner at THAT angle, it'd have smoke coming off the tryes
Audi humbles Porsche. A new dawn starts today.

    Being nice since 2007.

    Hehe, thanks Viagra!

About the smoke, that's a bit too advanced for me at this stage... I was intending to make it look stationary at first, but the moving wheels looked just soooo much better for me. So I added the motion-blurred wheels but couldn't find a suitable pic to fit the car into, until I eventually found this pic with a Porsche negotiating the corner.

As a point of interest, the original car was about 30% the size of this Lambo. This car would in real life be humongous!

    But oh well.

    Thanks Mr.Jinx.

I doubt this would've made much of a difference in the comp though.

    Here's an updated pic...

nice chop. but wanna add something. i think you should give the background a bit more blur because the car is moving fast. and also the rear end of the bonnet (under the wing), at that angle and prespective, i think we should be able to see the rearend of the bonnet. others were great. personal addition, i dont like that kind of nose.

    Thanks for the feedback everyone!

tmntmail_ppn, you're right, the tail is lacking. I wanted to create a McLaren LM longtail-type tail, but it just ended up looking all weird...

Thanks for the compliments 250 GTO, Egg Nog and tmntmail_ppn.
