Although I kind of hate to say it, the 3000GT would fit the bill in terms of what you're looking for. Low, wide, and sporty that one is. I'm not sure about the year, but I typed the porsche 930 in the search engine and it's pulling up prices around $85,000.00.

i was going to suggest the RX-7 too, low, wide, fast. considering thats alot of dough, you could ether pick up an already modified one, or find a stockish (i know it will be hard) one and do it yourself. personally no rear wing on anything after series three = mountian dew in the pants.RX7 TO get a good one, its over 20k, and you can put money into upgrades

I believe that you can get the Red Line version for under 34K as well.
And from personal experience it does transform.

Would a mid to late 90's M3 3.2 (6speed) fit the bill. In aus you can get them for around mid 30's with decent mileage.
