Although I kind of hate to say it, the 3000GT would fit the bill in terms of what you're looking for. Low, wide, and sporty that one is. Plus with your budget, you can pick up a nice specimen with all the fix-ins and money left over on the side for some customization/OEM replacement parts to your liking.

I'm not sure about the year, but I typed the porsche 930 in the search engine and it's pulling up prices around $85,000.00.

i was going to suggest the RX-7 too, low, wide, fast. considering thats alot of dough, you could ether pick up an already modified one, or find a stockish (i know it will be hard) one and do it yourself. personally no rear wing on anything after series three = mountian dew in the pants.

Haha why do you hate to say it? Anyways, thats just what came to mind when you said wide and sporty. Get a '95 spyder if you can find one, good luck thou. Not too many of those around and even less for sale. But trust me, this car hauls ass they got a FWD version running 8 sec 1/4 miles on turbos, no spray at all.

I believe that you can get the Red Line version for under 34K as well.

Would a mid to late 90's M3 3.2 (6speed) fit the bill. In aus you can get them for around mid 30's with decent mileage.
