It's ghastly and useless. Even more than the standard car.
Lack of charisma can be fatal.
Visca Catalunya!
Meh.
Bugatti, you have made a car which does little to stir my emotions as a fan of cars and is still too compromised for the engineer in me to really be fascinated by.
It is quite the engineering achievement, but, call me simple-minded, I like cars of this price to have clarity of purpose.
EDIT: Forgot to mention catastrophic looks.
"Kimi, can you improve on your [race] finish?"
"No. My Finnish is fine; I am from Finland. Do you have any water?"
Thats kind of amazing, although it looks a little amorphous without the scoops on the roof.
having said that, it is VERY orange.

On behalf of Koenigsegg, and the SSC Aero, I facepalm.
It look like some tuning company has tempered with it, so it's not the best looker for now. But just like with all these expensive sport cars, they'll grow on me.

That's a hilariously bad paint-job for a million dollar car, but more is always more.
Faster, faster, faster, until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death...
– Hunter Thompson
I'ma reserve judgement on the looks until I see one with a less silly paintjob.
Life's too short to drive bad cars.
Go America just crapped in his ban-hammer'd pants.
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.
So I just heard that if you buy one the thing can't actually reach it top speed because they limited it. Already the only place it could reach that top speed (in part because of that crippling top speed mode that won't let you turn or brake) is their groomed, long, straight, uber test track, and they've decided that's too unsafe to drive this thing on, so they limited it. So for your millions of dollars you get a but ugly paint job, a pretense to aero tacked on after the fact, and a claimed top speed which you will not be able to reach. The only way this is different from a kit car is price.

Even if it wasn't limited there's nowhere (except their test track) to reach that speed.
Not that you'll reach the limited top speed either.
This is the dick wagging contest car.
Lack of charisma can be fatal.
Visca Catalunya!
It's limited to 415kph because the tyres aren't rated to go any higher than that. It's a liability thing. The tyre company won't accept the risk of a blowout faster than that, so the car company can't accept it either.
Not really sure anyone's going to hit 415kph in it any time soon.. unless James May gets sent there to max it again. At which point they'll probably disable it.
Life's too short to drive bad cars.
I doubt all that stupendously.
At TG's "power circuit" the old one punched way below its weight.
At the Ring the 50 lost kilos will certainly be a bonus, but I doubt all that much of the aero work went into downforce so I have a feeling, while faster, it might not be by as large a margin as we think.
"Kimi, can you improve on your [race] finish?"
"No. My Finnish is fine; I am from Finland. Do you have any water?"
Even the McLaren F1 was limited, so there is really no surprise here.
As far as dick waving, if I was to buy a Veyron, it would be this one without of course a different paintjob. Surely there would be a quite long list of other expensive cars to consider before of the Veyron, but it doesn't make less sense than many other cars.
For once Bugatti did something more than buying a bucket of new paint, it's a step forward.
