    Future Mobility Concept

    Hi guys,

On my school, we have started a new project. It is called the Future Mobility Concept. We have to design a new concept of transportation for the region around Rotterdam. In groups varying between 6-10 people we work on it.This is allready week 3 out of 10 weeks during which we will work.

The goal is to design a vehicle and think about mobility in the future, about 2017. If the government approves it, it will also be built and operated after more development and research. The most difficult part is that the wheel-to-well emissions must be as low as possible or preferably 0.

So far we have achieved three documents:
    - A Agreement of cooperation between us, the teacher accompanying us and the city of Rotterdam.
    - Plan of attack
    - Packet of demands which the vehicle has to meet.
They weigh in at 15, 92 and 36 pages A4 respectively.

I have chosen the field of Marketing & Promotion and because of the other lazy students I was also democratically chosen to do that of Development.

Next week we will all have to show 3 sketches of a vehicle, plus a 10 a4 explanation per design. Out of the total 21 in our group one will be chosen. Since I allready made some design last week, I showed them to the teacher today. He seemed to like them a lot ! It was the first time ever I heard him give a compliment in public to someone, it's very rare they do that here, so I am feeling a little bit honoured today Next week I will turn in the completed designs and we will make a decision. Hopefully I can also show them to you next week.

Also upcoming for me is a full financial report, setting up a promotional campaign, writing a report of how to develop it and many many more. I expect about 300-350 a4 pages, a simple 3D-CAD drawing, the sketches and many more.. A big challenge offcourse, which I will try and complete as well as possible, without giving me another burn-out like last year.

I will keep you guys updated and answer all your questions as good as possible !

    Greetings,
    S.

Is it against the rules to use science fiction technology? :P You never know what we'll come up with in the next 10 years, right?
