Big Cars Are Not That Hard To Park

Many people think that big cars are hard to drive and park. It is true in some locations which have narrow roads and a shortage of parking spaces, but I made a video showing my '76 Limo being backed into and parked in the garage... with one car already parked in the garage and one on the side of the driveway.

Of course, a good driver does help with parking!

Sorry fleet, Can I have 3 minutes of my life back? It still took long, you stopped many times... And essentially that was the easiest park I've ever seen.

I did stop a few times, but that was due to the incline. If it was level ground, there would have been no stops.

Also, I did pull it in the first time... did not have to go forward and backwards to get the right angle. That is why a good driver helps a lot.

It may look easy but if I asked you to park it in the garage (by backing it in) you would you probably realize that while not that difficult, it something which requires a lot of looking back and to the sides.

Yeah, fortunately I don't have to do that much. Sometimes, but not too often.

Note: I meant to use the edited version of the video which is only just over 2 minutes long. It should be ready in a while.

Ok, seeing someone stand next to that car makes it look even more massive.

Do you ever have galas or keggers in the back of that thing?

All I have to guide me in are the back window and the side view mirrors.

No galas or keggers in the back that I am aware of.

Here is the updated video with edits of unnecessary footage:

Parking a big car is just impossible. I hate parking.

it's all relative. The Cadillac shown would not fit in any official parking place in Holland, so it would be very difficult to park.

That Caddie would be difficult to park in most American parking spaces today.

Driving backwards in a straight line does not parking make.
If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

It is not driving backwards in a straight line. I had to go in at an angle then I could straighten out. This is because of the tree near the street... it broke up some concrete and I have to go around that when backing up.
