Thank God that's over!

Italy were pretty uninspiring, but without Pirlo that was always going to be the case. Spain's task was to break them down, and they didn't impress at all in trying to do that. Despite being extremely defensive throughout, Italy created all the best chances in the game. Spain will need to up their game dramatically against the Russians.

I couldn't watch today's game (I was working). I heard it was a pretty exciting game, about 3 goals in the last 15 minutes, including one in the 90th by Germany. Can't wait for the final.

Russia didn't play a very good game, they looked pretty uninspired and worn out.

Well, I will be routing for Spain who have been the best side (arguably with The Netherlands), Germany have underperformed for their standards and the standards of tournament favourites and I don't think they deserve to have beaten the Turks who outplayed them overall in that game and especially dominated in the first half.

I think Spain is the most deserving of the two remaining teams and they have the chance of being the only team in the tournament to ever win all their games.
