Quite possible. I'm not sure if it reappeared in 1992 or 1990.

I am going to go ahead and agree with you there. This thing is foul, it does not look like a Volvo at ALL.

Being differnet was what it was abotu . jsut liek the 1800S
Funnily enough one of them was in the petrol station yesterday.
I do kinda liek it in an iconic 1980s sort of way -- liek shoulder pads

Shoulder pads, I don't know, but the 480 was one of the better looking small cars of the 80's. Not very sporty though, being underpowered and having lots of space for four adults. But it served well to make the upcoming 440 and later 460 more interesting for the buyers - the reason why it was published first of the series.
