    The S1 and S2s used the 1470cc OHV engine, gearbox and drive from the front-wheel-drive Renault 16.

    The TC used the Lotus Twin Cam engine.

    46 Europa S1/S1A
    47 The racing version using a fuel injected Cosworth 1594cc Twin Cam driving through a Hewland FT 200 5 speed 'box.
    52 Prototype twin cam - 1 car produced.
    54 S2 introduced in April 1968
    62 Tubular chassis silhoette version of the race car. Only 2 made.
    65 US car with sealed beam headlights, tougher emissions controls, monochrome lights, dual wipers. Higher wings to raise headlamps for USA.

    This car is so small, I've seen one not long ago, I was wondering how middle hight guy could even fit in the cockpit.

    mate had one MANY years ago.
    He was 6 foot and weighed about 15 stones.
    So not a small guy.

    Getting in and out was relatively OK but he'd never describe it as easy

    The pictures are deceptive-indeed, the car looks big due to its 'milk truck' design and proportions, but imagine this thing as a closed bodied 7.
