Can't even get Dallas Stars games even though I reside about 90 minutes drive from where they play.
I do not know about that. The Americans are in the O though. You will be able to see as much live hockey as you please. Uh, where do you watch that shit? Are you watching the ECHL or Central League or something!?

ESPN U carries the college hockey. Working for the cable company has its perks, I get all the oddball channels which carry obscure stuff. I'll miss that.

True. I'll still miss having every last channel we offer (including the premiums), plus internet, for free, all I pay for is a DVR.

We don't (so) much have the regional networks that you do as we are a much smaller market.

You have red (Rogers) or blue (Bell), and combined they own the Leafs and 5 of the 7 main sports teams in the Toronto market, along with internet, broadcast, tv stations.

You can watch the partly-Rogers owned Leafs on Rogers cable on a TV station (SportsNet) owned by Rogers while checking game stats on your Rogers cable internet.

Also, you can do all the same but replace the word Rogers with Bell... Yeah, collusion.

Far, far far off topic, a fascinating customer I drove was an economist who formerly worked with the OECD and became disillusioned with pure economics due to the popularity of the use in economic theory of a rational market (he received instruction from Milton Friedman and his PhD was supervised by a bastard-"Nobel"-economics-"prize" winner). He was much more in favour of studying economics through the lens of imperfect competition and distortions.

    That's neither here nor there.

WHen are you moving and what will you work as in WNY? OH SNAP GET READY FOR THE BEST/WORST COMMERCIALS KNOWN TO MAN!

Celino and Barnes Injury Attorneys, call 866 3020, Fucillo Chevrolet, Transvaginal Mesh Law suits, Hurt in a Car? Call William Mattar! Everst College, law suits etc etc.

Watching WNY commercials will make you realize why America is crumbling.

Wow, that sounds like a great combination (not). I think Time Warner and Comcast are what the Roc gets. We get those transvaginal mesh commercials too. They always make me shake my head. Hence why I utilize the DVR and Netflix

Anyhow, I am not sure yet what kind of work I will find there. That's a bridge I will cross as we get closer to the move. We're hoping to move next spring, if all goes well. We'll rent a loft place downtown for 6 months then settle down in the 'burbs. Houses are cheap there so I think we should be able to leverage a fairly nice one there.

Probably going to delay our move...parents are getting rid of their big house in the country and are opting to trim down teir lives by moving in next to us. Free childcare! And that also gives us some flexibility in paying all our debts down and saving up some cushion money / house down payment as well.
