    So what is it that is giving the RBR cars such a huge advantage? One second per lap in F1 is an eternity! Will we later find out that the rules were being bent or broken by RBR? It also demonstrates that the car is probably 90% of the equation and the driver perhaps less than 10%. History may tell an interesting tale of the 2010 season.

    Well they say its the end plates and the the wings "flex". Also saying that the nose end plates are 3 inch's lower then they "Legally" should be. And remeber the Renault engine isnt a powerful engine. We know that the Force India has the highest top speed set. So it has to be in the corners where the gain. And Hungarian GP being almost a flat track thats very technical its got to be the downforce of the car. I mean thats my opinion at least

    If it was over a second back to McLaren, who dont have the flexing front wing or an optimised blown diffuser, maybe it wouldnt be such a shock. Its over a second back to Ferrari though, who at least compared to McLaren have those innovations relatively well developed.

    The works Renaults are doing pretty well so theres perhaps some performance gain through the motor.

    Great race for Mark Webber, I thought not pitting under the safety car would be catastrophic, but it turns out he made that work fantastically. Shame about Vettel's drive through, but rules is rules. Shocking move by Schuey on Bazza, shoving someone that far at that speed is just too reckless.

    Also: first time this year that all 6 newbie drivers finished, and only three laps down. Progress!

    Steve Matchett summed up the race best when he said, 'cockup'.

    Vettel gets drive-through well deserved but still Webber's advantage goes unpunished....they really need to look at that aspect of it. In addition, the stewards taking so long to make their decision the Bull's pace was even more advantage...and Vettel got to run three more laps after the penalty came down.

    Webber...sterling drive on an apparently amazing tire.

    Schumacher = a-hole.

    Dear Michael,

    Please retire from F1. If you continue this way you are going to kill someone.

    Thank you.

    He has received a 10-place grid penalty for the next race. A suspension for at least one race would have been more appropriate.

    that is a very light punishment for what was clearly a direct attempt at manslaughter.

    I'm saying in such a case maybe the RB team should have been penalized....as in both cars get awarded a drive-through.

    Vettel violated the ten car length rule, that is black and white, but punishing him did not reduce the huge advantage Webber got from it. Just doesn't seem fair IMO.
