Very impressive switters! How long does it take you to draw a car?

Thanks! The Ferraris will probably end up taking about 25 hours each (give or take a little), which is about average for the pencil illustrations. That Ford Fairlane was about the same. The blue Triumph Italia in my avatar took about 40 hours...color always takes a little longer.

What version of Photoshop are you using? I'd say your piece is coming out nicely even though you're not using Illustrator. It would definitely make your life easier, but it's certainly not necessary.

    New version.

The door looks pretty shit, but thats just the rough plan for it..

I'm using photoshop CS4- illustrator would help with the colouring too, but I dont know wether I'll do that - I think it looks quite elegent in white/black.

Decided to fix part of the door and see if I can actually get some decent colour onto the corset, which seems to be working out pretty well at the moment.

Not looking forward to the gown itself though.. Alot of detail there..

Yeah, I think the black & white looks good too. You could always do the whole thing in grayscale so it's got some depth but still has the elegance of black & white. Are you using layers?

CS4 is great. I got the whole suite last fall and it's got so many awesome new features...come to think of it, I started a 360 Modena in Illustrator and haven't worked on it in a while because I've been too busy. Obviously I haven't gotten very far with it...I'll have to give it some love soon

If I may be critical (in the nicest possible way...)

It's either her eyes of the side of her head but she looks very...porcelain. Not a bad thing, just for note....
