    Cadillac CTS-V versus BMW M5

If you had a choice of either buying a Cadillac CTS-V or a BMW M5, which would you go for? Both cars have manual transmission.

not sure to be honest, don't like either of them. the M5 is ridiculously ugly though, more so than the caddy, so probably the cadillac

I absolutely love the freakish looks of the CTS-V coupled with its deep and hypnotic exhaust sound. I couldn't get my eyes off the very first CTS-V i ever saw.

I would go for the M5. Not because I think it's a better car (although I'm certain BMW's build quality would be substantially better) but because being that I've never seen a Cadillac in person I've never really experienced whether or not it's interesting to come across. I see M5's somewhat regularly and they're always nice to see.

The CTS's build quality is on par with the BMW. Maybe not better but certainly on par.

The BMW doesn't have a manual. Cadillac, then.

I think both cars can be had with a manual in the US.

I think you are right, but here the Bimmer is stupid-gearbox only.

Now that's rich. North America gets a manual and you don't.

Thats a very wild evaluation. How can you say it is not better? On what basis do you make such claim?

I'll take the Cadillac. Nothing like a detuned ZR1 engine to make a super saloon.
