The Vantage GT2 then. Can't be wrong this time

Also, wasn't there a GT1 corvette? That might be the confusion factor.

Yes, they just did the last race at Le Mans in the GT1 Corvette. Corvette Racing has left GT1 class for GT2. Their first race was yesterday at Mid-Ohio and they placed 2nd, roughly 20 seconds behind the Flying Lizard RSR.

Anyway, if I were to race in a GT2 car, I'd take a DBR9 anyday.
    The DB9 did GT1 (DBR9) and still does GT3 (DBRS9).
    The V8 Vantage does GT2 and GT4.

Actually, Drayson Racing started off the 2008 season with a DBRS9 modified to run GT2. It was a stopgap until the Vantage GT2 was ready later that season.

I'm looking forward to some great GT2 racing!!

Continuing its dedication to “green” technologies, Drayson and Barwell then traveled to the American Le Mans Series in 2008 for its first full season of international sports car competition with an E85-power Vantage GT2. The operation finished eighth overall in the championship for privateer entrants in a field of 22 with a season-high seventh at Laguna Seca.

The 430 was terribly and unusually off pace in that race giving the Vette a gifted debut.

I was their I saw it and heard it. After after a little research can say without a doubt it was also used at St. Pete, and the Vantage was ready in time Long Beach.

Didn't mean to be rude, and thanks for the info then.
I did a quick search and didn't find something about a DBRS9 raced in the GT2 category, and headed to their website I found those quotes which I took for correct. Nothing personal.

    all good

During Mid-Ohio one of the announcers stated that ALMS races were broadcast in 50 different countries and ~16? different languages. Is this correct? If so, I'm jealous because we have zero coverage of LMS, FIA GT, or DTM in the states.

About FIA GT, there is the free streaming on their own website. I don't know about LMS and DTM, surely they aren't broadcast here for free (maybe trough SKY/Eurosport in English, never been in the right mood to pay for it).

Sorry if I cannot express myself correctly, but I don't know English as good as I want, so my answers will probably be the same in many cases.
