Acording to carpoint and redbook, they only have front wheels.

A think your right 265-275 but i can't find anything that claims these cars have rear wheels .

It's clearly less that Holden/HSV has more driveline losses and that Ford has labelled their cars with their wheel outputs. And it's crank HP, not fwkw, fwkw would be what a FWD car puts down on the rollers.

Yeah, and I think the SS is on 245s on the smaller wheels and 255s on the bigger ones (the V wheels). Would the extra tyre grip really be enough to break shit with the sort of grunt these motors are chucking it out though?

I'd be interested in comparing drivetrain losses of similar and dissimilar cars just to see how small/big the variances would be.

I hear 15% for RWD cars thrown around all the time, but how accurate is that?

I thought was more like 20-25% for RWD and 25-30% for AWD.

It might not break anything but it will definately transfer more wear backwards through the CV's, diff, and clutch. The Fords also have a bad diff bush design and you cant fix it without noticeably increasing the NVH.

So any increase in wear is something to consider. also would love to see a copy of the warranty. what it covers in case of a failure.. anyway, how many will keep them factory spec for longer then 12 months lol.

Was that an issue with the b series ?.
